| In 14 years coaching high school soccer, Coach Lawhon has accumulated an overall coaching record of: 288-48-21. In 2004,
Lawhon’s team went undefeated to win the Class 5-A State championship. Lawhon was named Dallas Morning News Coach of the Year for 2005. He was selected as the 2004 NSCAA Texas Coach of the Year, The US Southwest Region Coach of the Year and was one of 8 finalists for National HS Coach of the Year. In addition to high school soccer, Lawhon has 10 years experience coaching select club soccer. He coaches with an obvious passion for the game. |

| Coach Sobotik has been the JV Soccer Coach for 15 years. He has been at Klein High School for 30 years and in that 30 years he has spent 11 of them teaching Foundations of Physical Education. Before joining Klein, he taught at North Brook High School. Coach Sobotik has also served as the assistant track coach at KHS. Even though soccer was new to him, he learned the sport over the years with former Coach Allen Baker by his side. Coach Sobotik says, "Coach Baker was the best mentor I could ask for." A few things he looks for in a soccer player is: good control, speed, aggresion, and always gives 110%. The goal for JV this year is to win district. JV has won district 13 out of the 15 years that he has coached soccer. |
